Music to My Ears
There is no point in going round the world on a ship (alright just to the med then!)
If you don't find something to do.
Lorraine and I have spent a lot time just sitting on a ship last week (a really nice cruise).
Some of the ports we have been to before and lets face it some of these ports can be incredibly boring.
She was given the family from hell with her school (its a long story) and ended up being moved to the family from heaven!Due to that we probably had a bit of inside knowledge on La Rochelle as we were entertained by the good family a few months later. I don't know exactly why but I really love the place.
So although Lorraine tried to steer me to a gift shop I managed a correction to my favourite Jazz and Blues shop. If you don't like
Jazz they had other stuff too so don't panic.
The experience was amazing as I spent about 2 hours just listening to stuff and the guy in the shop just let me keep
listening most of which we rejected!
This made me very relaxed and I probably spent double the amount I would have done if I had been watched over by
some uninterested person.
I have been playing my selection here in London for about a week and I have to say I can fault some of the recordings as not my favourite but they are all good and some of the stuff is amazing.
We also had a fantastic meal before we got back on the ship great service again .
So if you want great service go to La Rochelle. If you want happy clients give great service !
Barry
